Staying Healthy

  • Yoga tutorial: Watch this one hour gentle yoga practice when you need to stretch or take a break.  Originally recorded for the SDS office in May 2021, the recording is available for you to watch whenever you can benefit from a gentle guided practice.

 

Resources for students with an autism diagnosis

  • Autistic Self-Advocacy Network: The Autistic Self Advocacy Network seeks to advance the principles of the disability rights movement with regard to autism. ASAN believes that the goal of autism advocacy should be a world in which autistic people enjoy equal access, rights, and opportunities. They work to empower autistic people across the world to take control of our own lives and the future of our common community, and seek to organize the autistic community to ensure  voices are heard in the national conversation about us. Nothing About Us, Without Us!
  • College Autism Network: The College Autism Network is a nonprofit organization linking varied stakeholders engaged in evidence-guided efforts to improve access, experiences, and outcomes for postsecondary students with autism.
  • The Connect Program is designed to help neurodiverse students, with a concentration on students who are on the autism spectrum, stay connected on campus.  Students in the program receive student-centered support from academic coaching, peer mentorship, social engagement opportunities, and career workshop support.There is no fee to participate in the program offerings.  Interested students can contact us at sds@hkange.net for more information.

Evacuation chairs are located on the highest level stairs landing in the following buildings:  Dante Hall, Garaventa Hall, St. Albert Hall Library, Brousse Hall and Galileo Hall.
