Parking at Saint Mary's

Saint Mary’s College has implemented parking and traffic regulations to maintain a safe campus environment. All vehicles on College property must adhere to these rules and the California Vehicle Code. Vehicles are required to have a valid license plate and current parking permit while on campus.

Policy Information

  1. The Saint Mary’s College parking system uses digital permits, which are verified through vehicle license plates.
  2. After purchasing a permit, you can add multiple vehicles to your account, but only one vehicle associated with the permit may be parked on campus at any given time.
  3. Permits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not eligible for proration.
  4. Permits may be revoked at any time.
  5. Vehicles parked without a permit or in an unauthorized lot may be cited and towed.
  6. Possession of a permit does not guarantee the availability of a parking space.
  7. Parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Details on permit types and costs are HERE for your information.

The vehicle operator is responsible for finding a legal parking space. A lack of space in lots designated for your permit does not excuse violations of parking regulations. Vehicles parked improperly may be cited or towed at the owner’s expense. The College is not liable for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents, nor for any damage to persons or property related to parked or moving vehicles on campus. Vehicles left abandoned on campus for more than 72 hours may be towed at the owner's expense. If you need to leave your vehicle on campus during a school break, please notify Campus Safety in writing at psadmin@hkange.net

Visitor parking is available on campus from 07:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The Visitor parking rate is $0.50 per hour for a maximum of $5.00 per day, except during Special Events.

Visitors can pay using their license plate at any of our pay stations or on their mobile devices with our parking app. Please refer to the Visitor Parking Map for regular visitor parking locations.

Vehicles parked without a permit and/or in the incorrect lot will be subject to citation and towing. There is no Visitor parking on campus from 10:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
