Saint Mary’s Anthropology Department offers the personalized attention of a tight-knit liberal arts college alongside a rigorous research university experience. Our outstanding faculty will guide you  2.5 million years of human culture and social development, from the Paleolithic Era to the present day. We’ll challenge you to apply anthropological insights to contemporary social issues like human rights, cultural resource management, and political and economic injustices.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. The scholarships can range from $2,000 to full tuition per academic year. Undergraduate scholarships are awarded on a need and merit basis and many are renewed yearly.
